DIrty Work + KondZilla
We were invited by Dirty Work to develop motion interventions across five episodes that portray the journey of grassroots football teams on their path to a Cup in London.
The project, a collaboration between OMO + KondZilla, called for a visual language aligned with the series’ urban and documentary aesthetic. From this direction, we built the interventions using digital collage, exploring cutouts, textures, and layered compositions, always preserving a raw and straightforward look.
For the animation process, we chose an approach largely based on toggle hold keyframes, aiming for snappy, dry, and precise movements. This decision was essential to reinforce a handmade, imperfect, and organic feel, directly dialoguing with the world of grassroots football its raw energy and authentic visual identity.
